The word gickna has two meanings which can be interchangeable (see example 3)
(1) Irish slang for a person who's being a bit of an eejit
(2) Another name for a pigeon that likes to hang out in city center train/bus stations and pretends to have no leg until you give it crumbs, then the leg magically appears
