Gillytown lakes
When the guy who was picking the American golf course the PGA was gonna use for the Masters, he accidentally wrote “Augusta” on the company email, without realizing the actual course for the Masters was supposed to be Guilford Lakes Public Golf Course. Known lovingly as Gillytown Lakes by locals, this is not only the most beautiful, but the hardest golf course ever created by humankind. Not only are the views stunning, the ball is literally impossible to make in the hole without being exceptionally skilled at golf. The 6th hole is known for being lined by an impressive row of trees, which many golfers are susceptible to hit their ball into. The ball often goes into the street on the final hole, but Gillytown golfers know to play it where it lies.
Did you hear Mike shot just 1 over par on Gillytown Lakes today?
