(It was a great trade for the Warriors). Baron Davis is the star of the Warriors, with backup from Jason Richardson. Currently, The Golden State Warriors are coached by Don Nelson (Former golden state warriors coach in 1994). This year, warriors sophmore guard, Monte Ellis, was awarded the Most Improved Player award of the NBA.
