A duck duck goose girl (or guy)...is a person that has been benched by someone who is stringing multiple people along in a sexual or romantic way. Said "player" keeps his or her harem of simping partners on hold in a limbo of breadcrumbing as "ducks", until ready to choose the next "goose". They ramp up engaging behavior to manipulate said "goose" into chasing them, ideally for sex, but also for attention/ego. In reality- these people are emotionally immature, unable to engage in real intimacy, and often have fragile egos that they prop up by manipulating partners.
