Midway through the episode during a drug bust, a random criminal suddenly transforms into a Guillotine Gorilla and kills a few officers. Since that point the show continued to escalate and completely changed the tone of the series.

I stopped watching this show after they pulled a Guillotine Gorilla. It was never the same again.
