East Hanney
A term used to describe a location containing excessive quantities of alcohol, the term is derived from the original village of East Hanney - "The Land of the Bevs". The village is located in South Oxfordshire, England, and is famed for its wild population known for their ludicrous drinking habits and unrivaled nights out with visitors lucky to spot the 'Hanney Gang' out on the lash - the leading teenage clan. Legend has it that its rivers flow golden with Carling and if you squeeze its flowers with the right technique, nothing but the sweet nectar of Tsingtao and Carlsberg Export ooze out. As the settlement is renowned for its invention of ethanol, East Hanney is the ideal travel destination for anyone who views themselves as any kind of geezer, pub-goer or party animal and any place referred to as an 'East Hanney' should be treated with a similar attitude.
"I hear there's a party going on at Will's house this weekend. I'm going because they'll be loads of bevs apparently . Wanna come?"
