俚语 holiday homie's
释义

Holiday Homie

A Holiday Homie is someone who gives equal respect to all holidays individually. This is a term especially for the interregnum period between October 31st and the fourth Thursday of November for the year in question. This time period is when the true Holiday Homie's colors shine. These are the persons who refuse to do anything contributing to Christmas until they have paid equal respect to the preceding holiday of Thanksgiving. These individuals see the two holidays as separate and thus equally important. Although this term is a blanket statement for all holidays, this is when it is the most important.
Katie wears Christmas sweaters on November 1st. By udderly ignorning the upcoming holiday of Thanksgiving, she is NOT a Holiday Homie.
