"Hollywooding" or "getting Hollywooded" is the act of a person involved in creative arts at a production level (music producer/studio technician, filmmakers, et al) making excuses in similar fashion as a man buying a sports car or big house to compensate for having a tiny penis.
"That dingus just sent an email saying those tracks we're mixing will be late because his Dropbox maxed out when he was recording (insert semi-noteworthy band's name)."

To completely change a event that happened 100- percent around to benefit him self. So say one person lost some dope and told another person (the one going to do the hollywooded)well just call him Hollywood ,that it was somewhere on the floor.now Hollywood being the dope fiend he is knocks the person out cold with a bed frame and runs downstairs to tell everyone the person he just knocked out for her dope has overdosed. so her calls 911 so the paramedics come and take the (overdosed) / knocked out person to the hospital. leaving Hollywood alone with as much free time as he needs to search her room for the dope that was missing.
