Homesy
Someone who is self-consciously chintzy and projects tea-cosiness: a deliberate aesthetic rather than necessarily an instinctive preference. E.g. The stereotypically tyrannical organiser of a village fete.
Cath was such a homesy person, she would sometimes stay in the house for days, baking cakes and biscuits for her many cats whilst drinking cup after cup of chamomile tea.
