hotdog hole
A term used in golf during a 2 v 2 match, typically after the halfway house where your partner is “out of the hole”. Leaving a 1 v 2 situation while your partner sits in the cart eating a hotdog for the remainder of the hole.
“Where’s your partner at ? What does he lie ?”
“He hit his tee shot in the water. He’s done. Hotdog hole for him”
