Running a primary political campaign with no chance of winning but remaining in the election race as to discredit and/or ruin the chances of the clear frontrunner or winner of the primary election to win in a general election.
A clear losing political candidate who runs a primary campaign, without dropping out, to sabotage the other opponents running in the primary election or to sabotage the candidate's own political party.

Huckapiss
A political candidate running in a primary election who has no chance of winning the election but refuses to give up their campaign. Often times the candidate runs a campaign to discredit and/or ruin the chances of the clear primary opponent candidate frontrunner or winner as to make them loose in the general election.
Mr. Politician is only running as a Huckapiss. Mr. Candidate is way behind in the polls, but is still running as to be a Huckapiss.
