Insylac
An insylac, or Initial Syllable Acronym, is a word that is made up of the initial syllables and/or letters of a phrase to create a new word. It is similar to an acronym but uses syllables as well as letters.
TANESCO (Tanzania Electric Supply Company) and Sucodu (South County Dublin) are both examples of an Insylac.
