Intoxivacation

When someone takes vacation and drinks many intoxicants while they are off. The heavy doses of alcohol often results in epic foolishness, drunken phone calls, and heads going through walls.

The occasional recreational use of large amounts of intoxicants in order to engage in escapism from troublesome or unpleasant aspects of your life. Particularly appropriate for a person who perhaps is technically considered to be abusing the drug, but is otherwise functional the rest of the time.
