Jadeja is a Rajput caste of India. Who are of the Yaduvanshi Rajput clan and Chandravanshi Jadeja comes from a Rajput caste called Sama of Sindh. Today they have a population in Halar. Kutch and Jamnagar were his two largest states. They claim to be the descendants of Yadavs who survived the Yadavasthali. Some scholars consider him as auspicious as the Chudasama and Devagiri Yadavas. The Jadeja dynasty ruled the kingdom of Kutch from 180 to 19 until it became a republic of India
