Jersediction
When a person originally or currently from New Jersey speaks about an egregious offense, committed by a person who has never been or is not from New Jersey, in front of a current New Jersey native to whom they are loosely related, who immediately assumes control over the entire situation by suggesting the complainant communicate only to them and they should “don’t worry about it” and/or “have a good time.” Thus, leaving the complainant concerned for what the person asserting Jersediction might do.
Melissa from Rockaway tells this story about this guy from Texas, named Subi, who was giving her I don’t know some hard time about whateva. Tony hears it right, immediately claims Jersediction. Tony says, “Melissa, this dude Subi, from Texas. You don’t worry I take care of it. We’ll talk, don’t worry about it, just have a good time, ok?”
Melissa later said, “OMG, what did I say? WTF is Tony going to do?”
