A jfz otherwise known as a "judge free zone", is a place where you can speak your mind without being judged. Coined by two senior girls from Pittsford, New York in May 2011, jfz's are popular among teenagers, and young adults.
In order to initiate a jfz, one must first state "jfz" followed by the raising of his or her hand in an act of non-judging. While in a jfz other parties are not allowed to put others down with negative remarks.
Jfz's usually include sts or "sworn to secrecy" pacts.
