Primary use: follow-up to a question you have asked when suddenly realizing the answer is inconsequential and/or adds little value to the conversation or your curiosity.

Secondary use: A way to shield against the embarrassment of an unanswered text message or email by taking the offensive-- especially when the question was asked as a desperate attempt to make conversation with an individual of interest.
