俚语 job creator
释义

Job Creators

GOP/Tea Party propaganda term for uber-wealthy Americans. Typically used when Democrats suggest asking America's billionaires and corporate entities to shoulder their fair share of the tax burden.

The thinking is that if you take away any of rich people's $$$, they will stop putting their money back into the economy (aka creating jobs). Unfortunately, these rich fuckers could care less about creating jobs, unless it's cheap overseas labor... and when they don't pay their taxes, America suffers.
What a sec, isn't this whole "job creators" b.s. the same thing Raegan tried to sell us back in the 80s with "trickle-down economics." Ouch, my ass hurts. Somebody get me some Vaseline!

Job Creator

Euphemistic term for a wealthy or rich person first proposed by Republican politicians in mid-2011.

The term is meant to justify why the wealthy are given special legal and economic advantages and why the rich are taxed less than other people in the United States even though they can afford it more.

In Republican/Tea Party political theory, "Job Creators" are wealthy because they are industrious, virtuous, hard working people and can use their vast wealth to create jobs by hiring people to work for them. The idea that this euphemism is trying to convey is that taxing these people would hurt the economy because then their money would be going to the government (which is always evil in this political ideology) which will only waste tax money on things like social services.
We are Job Creators, therefore we deserve not to be taxed on our big houses and luxury cars, because then we might not be able to afford our nanny and gardener.

Job Creator

American elite businessmen who create jobs overseas as they outsource the labor and really don't create any jobs for Americans.
We must give tax breaks to our Job Creators because they will share the wealth and it will trickle down to the rest of us.

Job Creator

A euphemism for rich people that boils down to "aristocrat with a business"

Stems from the pre-Enlightenment fantasies of teabaggers and other randroids that taxing the rich will somehow hurt the economy under the fallacious belief that rich people actually create jobs.

Newspeak for an an old belief.
We shouldn't tax the job creators of America, because they are industrious people and earned that money because of their virtues, and not because people actually bought their goods and services!

Job Creator

A creative euphemism used to describe the elite business executive, investment banker or otherwise disgustingly rich person; a type of creature which might possibly spend additional revenue created by tax breaks on slave labor in India or China, but will most likely utilize the money to give other business executives absurdly large bonuses and buy yachts made out of solid gold. Studies have shown that for every $1,000,000 that “job creators” receive in tax breaks, approximately 75¢ is re-invested into the American economy, usually in the form of a larger than usual tip to a valet driver. Many lower and middle class Americans with weak intellects will tend to throw this term around (usually in all capital letters “don’t tax the JARB CREATORS, it’s CLASS WARFARE derp derp!”) because they have no concept of macroeconomics other than one-line catch-phrases that are fed to them via Fox news. Their blind support of socio-economic and political practices which have led to all-time low tax rates for "job creators", unprecedented deregulation, and the corruption of what was once a great political system are in fact the very cause of companies like ENRON, millions of mortgage foreclosures and the collapse of the American economy.
Middle-class American1: “It’s not fair to tax the job creators, it will hurt the economy”

Middle-class American2: “Actually, tax rates for “job creators” are at all-time lows and are largely to blame for the poor state of the economy. If you think that you will personally benefit by taking over their tax burden, you must be daft.”

Middle-class American1: “Stupid anti-american hippy protesters should get jobs. If they want more money they need to work hard for it, like job creators do.”

Middle-class American2: “Actually, the reason they’re angry is because it’s becoming harder and harder to gain wealth through hard work. In the past 10 years, wages for jobs involving hard work have been stagnant, while shuffling money and securities around has become incredibly profitable. Rather than working hard, a much more effective way to become wealthy these days is by defrauding people through bogus companies like ENRON, or by bundling sub-prime mortgages into credit derivatives and short-selling them on the NY stock exchange. In these ways, you can absorb the retirement savings of people who have worked hard for their whole lives without doing anything of value to society yourself. Meanwhile, millions of mis-informed Americans whose retirement savings you took will actually refer to you as a “job creator”. “

Job Creator

Euphemism for rich person.
Wow! look at that job creator driving his aston martin to get onto his private jet so he can go to his private island!

Shitty Job Creator

A person who creates shitty jobs, as opposed to decent jobs.

Shitty jobs can be any combination of minimum wage, no benefit, no mobility, part-time, and contract work.

While technically better than being unemployed, the ability of a person working a full forty hour week for a Shitty Job Creator is inadequate to provide them with a standard of living above the poverty line.
“Hey man, I created hundreds of jobs. I’m a Job Creator!”
“No, you’re a Shitty Job Creator, there’s a difference.”

“Why is there a minimum wage? My workers should just be grateful to have jobs!”
“Dude, you're a Shitty Job Creator.”
