Karen Culture
A class of person who thinks that asking for a Supervisor or Manager in a non critical situation is acceptable because time has proven that if you complain about something, it will get done faster/better or you will be compensated in some shape or form for your inconvenience.
No one is above being a Karen. It is not age or gender limited.
Ex. 1 -Asking for the manager for a coupon because it took too long to get your Big Mac.
Ex. 2 -Complaining on TikTok about being stopped while acting a fool

The entirety of TikTok is filled with Karen Culture if you think about it. People spreading their opinions and unhappiness because they have no other outlet for it aside from the other people on Social Media
Karen Culture
A business culture that was created in response to the numerous "Karen" videos posted online in the early 2020s. Rather than listening to genuine complaints (bad customer service and poor quality of product etc) many employees began assuming that anyone who complained, regardless of the legitimacy of the complaint, was a "Karen" and would not put any effort in fixing the underlying issue, as it was assumed by the employees that it was the customer with the issue rather than the business itself. As a result, the issues within the business were never fixed resulting in a gradual exodus of consumers and, ultimately, the closure of the business.
People use to love that restaurant but the quality of the food and the customer service got so bad that it just wasn't the same. There were a ton of negative reviews of Google about these issues but there never seemed to be any effort to acknowledge or fix them. It was a victim of Karen Culture.
