kharku
A Punjabi word used to refer to a freedom fighter, or someone who stands up for his/her rights. This word became popular during the 1980s in Punjab at the peak of the Khalistan Independence movement.
They bombed and destroyed his temple, so he went and killed and each one of them like a real Kharku would.
