Kir'Log (ker-lŏg)

n. Mythology

1. A powerful heathen deity that the Norse once believed to be responsible for the fermentation of grains, male potency and the sounds emitted from a vibrating string. Originating around 1420 B.C.E., local folklore varies widely pertaining to many of his features and attributes, though the mythological beings called Incubi (see Incubus) were most likely later derived from them.

2. A log made from Kirwood.
The axe handle was carved from a large Kir'Log.
