俚语 krainey
释义

Krainey

A man who enjoys a lager & lime, who doesn’t swear but will curse in French ‘sacrebleu’, who will often ask “what do you know sonny” but doesn’t actually want a reply especially from a smart bugger, will draw pretend pistols from pretend holsters instead of waving or saying hello, stops short of praising anyone in case they get a big head, famous for saying “you’re a scholar and a ………”, and if you’re lucky he will ask ”it’s 3 o’clock and not a” to which he will expect a reply of “a baby washed”. But most of all a Krainey is a man whom has no problems, only solutions and will often quote his all-time hero – General Douglas MacArthur – “As the great man once said…… I shall return”. Good man, things will be different when I rule the world!
A man walked into a bar, pulls out his pretend pistol and says ‘what do you know sonny?’. When the barman realises that the gun isn’t real, the Krainey will say ‘Sacrebleu!’. Then barman will served him a lager and lime, “Good man”.
