Lactobacillus
was a Roman nobleman in 71BC. He was present in the Third Servile War where Spartacus the gladiator led an uprising against the Holy Roman State. As a child, he despised gladiator fights even to such point of declaring it publicly. When the uprising spread to his small farming bordering the Alps, he was able to persuade the rebels to leave their people be. His success did not spread in the Empire, but words of his deeds were carried by the escaped rebels and into lands surrounding Rome.
Lactobacillus: Ventri, my friend, are you okay?
Ventri: I am okay... Everyday okay.
(Words exchanged between Lactobacillus and his good friend Venti just after the rebels left their town unscathed.)
