As in monologuer, or one who talks on and on regardless of the listener's interest level or of what the listener (as the other person is reduced to) might attempt to add to the conversation.
Loguer: "... and I carved the figure from mahogany."
Listener: "Oh really? How ironic. I used to illegally harvest mahogany and ship it around the world."
Loguer: (brief pause, blank look) "I first began by carving the head and then moving down the torso. Now the nose was the most difficult because of the undercut..."
