madspeech
A term describing the language or wording a person uses who is incapable of a proper rebuttal or insult and resorts to insisting their opponent is mad, upset, or salty without having any proof that person is mad. Typically done out of pettiness or spite. Used as an (ad hominem) attack that is lower than the wit of sarcasm as a retort. An insult equivalent of bringing a knife to a gun fight.
You: "That was total crap, it looked like you were exploiting the game."
Them: "You're just mad" / "You're just salty"
