Maori-oke
A rendition of "10 guitars" or any song containing the maori words "toru" , "wha" , or where the guitar is turned over and a drum beat is played on the back . The traditional seat is a used empty "swappa crate" to play this instrument .
Maori-oke has been around since the development of the Swappa bottle circa 1960 and its first on screen appearance was in the movie "Once Were Warriors"
