Instead of researching and analyzing their world they give up their agency to authority under the false premise that authority knows better than them - and all. While that is true for a Mask Covidian since they are without the necessary base rational ability, they, the Mask Covidian project their inability to think onto the rest of their peers in hopes of converting them to their cult-like conspiracy theory.

The Mask Covidian is generally found with a superhero complex, believes that wearing an improperly flimsy fabric mask is "saving others", and will passive aggressively keyboard-warrior attack anyone and everyone who does not believe in their mask cult.
