Medicane
An extremely rare hybrid low-pressure system that occurs in the mid-latitude Mediterranean Sea. Medicanes are similar in virtue to a tropical cyclone but have the characteristics of a mid-latitude storm. Medicanes possess a warmer core than most Mediterranean low-pressure systems. One of the dumbest words ever invented by the climate change freaks. Their brilliant linguistic formula is "mediterranean" + "hurricane" = "medicane". It's just so wrong in many ways especially because the good old word "cyclone" was good enough.
