A great example of bands that would be defined in the Midwesterncore genre are The Menzingers, The Gaslight Anthem, Pool Kids, Origami Angel, Banner Pilot, Polar Bear Club, Hot Water Music, Sincere Engineer, and even some Bumpin' Uglies tunes.
