Missunderstand
A corollary to mansplain, to missunderstand is to ignore information based on the condescending tone of the explainer. While a missunderstanding sometimes results in a missed opportunity for a greater understanding, it is also a partially justified skepticism, since mansplainers are frequently overconfident in their beliefs.
