Mock 85
A specific, overused, and emphasized term used to compare and stereotype, typically in the “educational lens.” The first thing, typically an inferior research paper or person is compared to a vastly superior person or paper of the same subject, or vise versa.
“In this corner you have all the social, artsy, leader kids who can research, and put in the time. Then you have that Mock 85 weird kid sitting in the back picking his nose or something.”
