Mugiwara

Mugiwara means “Wheat straw” or “Barley straw” in English. “Mugi” of the first character means “wheat” or “barley”, and “Wara” of the second character means “straw”. In the manga/anime series One Piece, the main character Monkey D. Luffy is called Mugiwara and they translate it to english as "Straw Hat" but that's just simple abbreviation of Mugiwara Boushi, where "Boushi" means "Hat". Mugiwara word quickly gained fame when there have been opened One Piece themed stores named Mugiwara Store (MugiwaraStore.Net)
I visited Mugiwara store when I was in Tokyo, it was so cool.

Mugiwara-ya

Mugiwara-ya or Strawhat-ya is the nickname Trafalgar Law has given to Luffy. Its pretty adorable but the "ya" in the end actually are just suffix and something Traffy would add on someones name just to go with the flow lol

Mugiwara Store is a One Piece anime merchandise shop. There are few Mugiwara Stores, first one opened in Japan, then another one was created in Taiwan, next was Thailand and Hawaii. There are also couple of online stores that call themselves Mugiwara Store, most popular one can be found at mugiwarastore.net
