M’Championn
A reference to Mike Tyson’s Punch Out!! for the NES, this is a term that is used to refer to someone that is a champion like Mike Tyson. The phrase comes from a graphical glitch in Punch Out!!’s “another world circuit” cheat code in which Mike Tyson’s title is “ANOTHER MCCHAMPIONN” instead of “ANOTHER CHAMPION: MIKE TYSON”. The word can also be seen as a portmanteau of “Mike Tyson” and “Champion”. The last N is also probably silent.
Person A: “Did you see Person C out there fighting Person D today? That fight was awesome!”
Person B: “Tell me about it, dude. That guy was a M’championn!”
