neo-pink goth
Someone who dresses like a goth, a witch, and a Jem Barbie doll, simultaneously.
The term was coined by Maz Roupas in 2000 and is used to describe a pale gothy-looking person, aged 15-17, generally of the female sex, who can't resist the lure of PINK shades, tints, or derivatives, such as red and violet. Matched, with a black uniform, however, and the effect can be rather jarring and perplexing for OTHERS. Used literally and metaphorically to describe a contradictory person living with a difficult wardrobe situation, yet blissfully unaware of how badly they clash and confuse at the same time.
