NYzarro
A satirical style of weird fiction with bite, swagger and snark. Rude, raw and colorful as the city it is named for. Like a walk through pre-Disney 42nd Street, it is filled with grime, grit and hollah. Political correctness doesn’t enter into the equation. It’s balls to the wall and anything goes. Its roots come from early forms of satire like Juvenal in the first century to the beat movement to comic books and graphic novels to various bizarro styles.
That NYzarro novel about the Guido from Brooklyn who got his Camaro stolen five times in one week was really funny.
