Optallacy
An extreme lie that what is being shown is perfectly wonderful, happy, positive, and or well- intentioned. Where in actuality it is the exact opposite, and its what the positive cover or disguise is trying to hide whether it be accomplishing that very well or not. ("Op" coming from optimistic and optical, and "allacy" coming from fallacy.)
"It was an obvious optallacy that the gaudy place shown on that map isn't as lovely as it is cut out to be..."
