Opticphobia
A fictional fear where the patient is horribly afraid of eyes. The sight of eyes makes the patient panic and they will go out of their way to get the eyes out of their sight and may even try to pull them out of the person's sockets. Caused by watching the film, "Miss peregrine's home for peculiar children" From 2016. The fear doesn't seem to go away and the only way to help the patient is to blind them so they don't go into a state of panic at the sight of eyes. Some have tried therapy and gradually exposing themselves to the sight of eyes but we run out of therapists and none seem to want to work with us anymore. So, if you're a therapist consider contacting us. (We are not responsible for loss of eyes)
The fear can develop over several days or in a few minutes, so you can imagine how odd the theaters were after the film was shown. About 68% of people became optophobic after watching the film.
