$600 Man
Person who collected the $600 a week unemployment bonus during the 2020 COVID-19 outbreak in the USA. In most cases the $600 Men earned more money to stay home than they did working. Most spent the extra money on beer and fireworks hosting loud parties that kept all of the peasants who still had to work up all night.
The saying is in reference to the "$100 man" from the movie "Gangs of New York" in which a person could get out of military service by paying $100. This indicated a higher social status. Much like the $600 man today is paid more to do nothing than all the poor chumps who still have to work to support the country he mooches off of.
