Plow-time
Invented by medical students in the early part of the twenty-first century, a term used to describe the 24 hours or so preceding a medical school exam.
Plow-time is accompanied by lots of red bull (light and dark blue can), beef jerky, apples, vitamin water or gatorade (hydration), pistachios or other forms of scant nutrition. During plow-time, there is usually no freedom to eat an actual, full meal.
Plow-time is also characterized by the complete absence of sleep.
