Punctuflation
Punctuation inflation. A persistent rise in the number of exclamation marks needed to punctuate a sentence as a consequence of the eroding value of exclamation marks due to rampant over-use.
Person A: I'm excited!
Person B: u don't seem excited.
Person A: I'm really excited!!!!!
Person B: are u sure?
Person A: YEAH, I'm TOTALLY excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Person B: Ok, cool. Just making sure.
