Barmp
"Barmp" is a a Newfoundland term which is synonymous with "(to) honk your horn" and any other such variations of the word. Often times, however, the word is associated with being angry, so you may only "barmp your horn," if you were experiencing a bout of road rage.

Newfoundland-English verb meaning to honk the horn of a vehicle (cars, trucks, boats, ships) It is onomatopoeic in origin as it imitates lower-pitched sound of the horns of American cars and trucks of the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s as opposed to the higher-pitched ‘beep’ of the European and Japanese imports that began to become more popular following the ‘73 OPEC oil embargo.
Jimmy was drivin’ down Water Street in his restored ‘74 New Yorker when he saw his buddy, Dave. He barmped his horn and Dave looked over and waved at Jimmy.
