Barnsley chicken
A cat. A name coined (circa 1984) in the coalfields of Northen England when striking miners struggled to provide for their families and had to become ultra resourceful.
Small child - "Mam, this meat tastes funny!"
Mam - "that's a bit of finest Barnsley chicken, you ungrateful little sod. You'll either like it or lump it!"
