That state of extreme drunkenness which often starts with 'a few drinks after work' but ends with the hangover from hell and no knowledge of what you did, how you got home or why you are now back at work in the same clothes you were wearing yesterday.
Usually followed with unbelievable eyewitness accounts, e.g. holding your future boss against a wall by his throat !
