Ride of Shame
Like "walk of shame," term refers to college students who use university affiliated call-a-ride services to return home after sleeping with someone and spending the night in their dorm room. Seen as a convenient attempt to avoid embarrassment associated with the "walk of shame". Term thought to have originated from University of Maryland, College Park, where evening transportation services are innundated with calls from hung-over freshmen who do not want to be seen walking home.
Sally: I got a Nite Ride home from Johnny's frat house this morning.
Uber ride of shame
After a girl hooks up with a guy and wakes up at his place the next morning, rather than walking home wearing the same clothes she had on the prior evening (the classic "walk of shame"), she can now order an Uber or another ride share app on her phone and is driven back to her dorm building.
Sunday morning at the dorm building:
Annie: Did you see your roommate Julie get out of the backseat of a Toyota Corolla sedan this morning? What was that all about?
Jessica: Yeah, Julie was hooking up with Brad last night - they were really going at it and went up to his room. She didn't come home last night . So this morning she made the Uber ride of shame.

uber ride of shame
The ride home in an Uber the next morning wearing the same clothes as yesterday, now all wrinkled, after having sex with a stranger.
Oh man, once again, I did the uber ride of shame , the driver even laughed when he picked me up and asked how my night was.
