Bauer Hour

The hour in which Jack Bauer graces the Fox Network in the form of 24.

Any time when you're busting skulls and taking names.

Another name for the hit show 24. It is called this because of the show's main character, Jack Bauer, who is a counter terrorist agent sometimes for CTU (unless he's busy going dark, faking his death, etc.).

Much like a power hour. Whilst watching 24, drink shots of beer whenever the show is playing, and smoke weed during commericials. Completion of a bauer hour does not make you Jack Bauer, and anyone claiming that they are him, or have become him, must be rideculed for being a feltcher.

College-going fans have developed a drinking game in which you have to down one shot for every time Jack Bauer says "Damn it," which is the show's "Fuck" and "Shit" substitute.

The timeslot where "24" is televised. Literally, an hour (minus commercials) of Jack Bauer (bad-ass counter-terrorist agent played by Keifer Sutherland) using his power (knocking off the bad guys in bad-ass ways).

Jack Bauer Power Hour (aka the best damn time of the week) occurs monday nights (or any other time of the week as long as you have an episode of 24, including commercial break (so you get the full 60 minutes)) where a shot of beer is taken for every minute Jack is in the field. If Jack is in the field kicking ass and putting his life on the line to save the US, we can at least show some respect by drinking some beer. God Bless Jack Bauer.
