a term to describe a person's tendency to ignore facts, spoken or otherwise, when those facts are opposing to the person's own viewpoint.

The act of being close in nature, or complete opposite, to former United States Congressman, Secretary of State, and Secretary of Defense (1975 to 1977, et al. 2001 to 2006) Donald Rumsfeld.
