Satelife
A word composed of “satellite” and “life” representing both a lifestyle philosophy and a travel technique. The satelife is the act of planning activities based on satellite images according to one’s mood: “where do I want to be now that’s physically accessible?”.
The term was first coined in 2018 by a French explorer while he was traveling to the North Cape in the Arctic Circle. He managed to survive from wild camping and fishing by looking at satellite images of ideal locations for food and shelter.
