Beatdown Shot
The beatdown shot was a camera angle technique developed and commonly used by East Coast rappers during the 90's. The rapper in his video, usually accompanied by his crew, would place a camera next to their feet at a 45 degree angle pointing toward the entire group. They would then commence to kick, punch, and/or spit verses into the camera lense. Has not been used in quite some time.
Guy 1 - Yo, that Beatdown Shot was tight
son!
Guy 2 - Yeah, Wu-Tang clan put it down in
that video kid! I felt like me
AND my momma got our ass whooped!
