VERB: to shamm.

Not doing what you are supposed to be doing and not getting caught. It is an extremely common term in the US Military used to describe escaping work unessarily. Used especally to decribe someone who left you painting rocks on your own, or some other stupid detail.
Damn that shammer! He left at lunch and never came back!
