He was such a feckless manager that his total disregard for his colleagues was such that they were constantly working his shitstream.

The region behind a person that is walking when he/she has just farted. The smell will follow this person like a cape in the wind.
I followed Gary through the office when a deadly smell penetrated my nose, it wasn't long until I noticed I was walking in his shitstream.
